Wild Cascara Forest Fridays

Forest Fridays are a place-based, Earth centered program for students 5-12 years of age. Classes are held 80-90% of the day outside at Cascara Forest Farms, a 20 acre farm to forest with walking trails, gardens, and native ecosystems. We have access to a one room schoolhouse with a cookstove, woodfire stove, composting toilet and running water.

These classes are held four Fridays a month, and you can register for either all four days, or half time of two days. Please make sure when you are registering you purchase the correct ticket -you will have the ticket option for four days or two days so please double check at that step! *please note when purchasing your ticket there are multiple options; we hold a few Monday classes on bank holiday weekends, a fall break and winter break option (no Spring Break options, I take my rest then!). If you would like to register in advance to hold your spot for any of these classes you may do so.

- students are to bring their lunch, water and snacks

- students are to dress accordingly for the outdoors, and romping around in the forest in all weather; if you need access to good outdoor gear, or support in acquiring gear please reach out right away! We have a community closet to pull from and can support you and your family happily

- waiver forms and medical release forms will be sent out a week prior to the start of school, these must be signed and received no later than the first day of class for students to participate
