Witch + Camp

Witch Camp is a two day retreat among native oaks and 20 acres of forested land. This is not a teacher led event, but rather a collaboratve commuity class. Magical practices from all backgrounds are welcomed and needed! Our intention is to learn from each other and connect to our own inner magical self. Teacher Juniper herself comes from a Pagan, reconstructed form of Northern European practices and connects to her lineage of Scottish and Irish ancestores. This camp runs with clear community guidlines for working in magical space, and respecting each other's personal authority. Participants spend the first part of the day creating the curriculum and agreeing on guidelines for tending to magical space. 

Overnight camping is optional and welcomed (bonfire right?). Participants are in charge of brining their own food and camping supplies, wood and water are provided. Please bring any items for alter building, biodegradable offerings to the land, magical tools you love and want to share (tarot please!), comefortable shoes for walking in the woods with and proper clothing for the weather. 

Witch Camp runs August 26th-27th, from 10:30am-12pm the following day

Tuition is a sliding scale with profits going to rental fee and a social justice orginization of our choice. 

We ask that you contruibue between $40-150 for the two day experince. 

Wild Cascara also acknowledges that we are all flawed, wounded humans and that our shit can spill out and over sometimes (often). Juniper Birch strives hard to create a space that allows for our human mistakes, a brave space to discuss our wounds, and a place where we do the work to check our privilidges. May we be open to listening, learning and growing with compassion. May we be the bridge of what is dead and dying, and imagine what we can become.
